Using Filters
Using Filters
Filters are available in a more visible location on the left hand side of every dashboard. You can filter for a number of predefined groups of students such as by school, grade level, student language proficiencies and more.
Each filter is a dropdown that allows you to select the specific student groups you would like to filter. You can make one or multiple selections.
The filters will IMMEDIATELY be applied to the dashboard.
Filtering
Select a filter from the dropdown menu
The filter is automatically set - the data on the dashboard will immediately change
You may select more than one filter at a time across any of the filters.
Search
Use Search to find a filter in a long list. Type any part of a word to see results.

Filter Behaviors
School Year Filter
When the School Year filter is applied, additional years will appear on the metrics either as an additional bar, line or columns in a data table. See screenshots below.
Notes about how the School Year filter will behave:
Note 1: The School Year filter is a new filter in DataZone 3.0. It allows you to filter dashboard pages for historical data. However, there are a few metrics that will not adjust based on School year Filter. There are metrics that will only show the current year’s data. The metric title will “Current Year”.
