DataZone 4.0 Updates

DataZone 4.0 launched August 11th! Most updates are in the back-end to improve functionality. Here are some changes you will see in the front-end:
New User Management app
User Management allows district DataZone leads to create and managers users. In other words, districts can control who sees what and at what level of granularity. Read our User Management knowledge base article to learn more.
New File Management app
File Management allows district DataZone leads and select district level staff to upload state and local assessments to DataZone. These files are processed twice weekly and viewable in dashboards the following day. Visit our File Management knowledge base article to learn more.
New Program-code based filter
The Programs dashboard under the Foundations dashboard now offers a new filter. Both CALPADS and district programs will be available in the program filter to offer more granularity on what to include/exclude in the dashboard. The program codes are pulled from your district’s SIS.
Master Rosters
Our systems upgrade for DataZone 4.0 combined master rosters and measures into one filter. There are two master rosters: Student Master Rosters and Staff Master Rosters. The filters on the left side lets you filter to the group of students you want to see. The filters on the right side allows you to select what columns in demographics and assessment performance level bands to include about those students.
