What is the Assessment App

The Assessment Application is a web interface that allows users to directly input student assessment data into a database. The Assessment App is connected to the student data warehouse and DataZone analytics platform - which allows standard and currently available vendor assessments to be visualized in dashboard form. 

How does the Assessment App Work

DataZone’s Assessment App allows school and district leaders to directly enter assessment score information into the student data warehouse and provides users with analytics and visualization tools to more deeply   

Basic Overview of the Assessment App

There are several components of the the Assessment App: 

1. Assessment List- The Assessment List is a list of available assessments in your district. The Assessment List includes the assessment title, grade levels, and if the assessment is open (unlocked) for scoring.  This is a place from which a teacher/staff member can select an assessment to score. All users have access to this screen.

2. Assessments - Only available to district assessment admin. The Admin can View all of the assessments in the system or Add a new assessment template to the system.
