Data for District & School Leaders
District and school leaders can access data across all dashboards from My Site to Foundations. State, District. They can navigate to any dashboard.
Data for Counselors and Specialists
All counselors and other similar specialists have been assigned to the Teachers Plus security group. This means that in this role, your home page is My Classroom, and you are only able to see students who are in your SIS-assigned schools. Counselors and specialists can access students and classes via My Classroom and use the Staff Name filter to select a class. They can also navigate to other dashboards outside of My Classroom to view data on all students within their school. This access allows them to more easily and seamlessly collaborate and share supports for students across a school site.
**Counselors and specialists will not have access to filtering data on dashboards for special populations of students including: Foster Youth, Migrant or Homeless students. HOWEVER, they may see students in a class that are identified as Foster Youth, Migrant or Homeless on the student profile.
**NOTE: It was brought to our attention that the new Teacher Plus role does not function as designed and still has access to filters for Foster Youth, Homeless, and Migrant students. This issue has been added to the known issues list, and the updated role with limited access will be released by the end of October 2023.
Data for Teachers
Teachers can access their students and classes via My Classroom and can look at class data for their grade level team members by switching classes using the Staff Name filter.
Teachers will not have access to dashboards for special populations of students including: Foster Youth, Migrant or Homeless students. HOWEVER, a teacher may see students in their class that are identified as Foster Youth, Migrant or Homeless on the student profile.
