Renaissance STAR

DataZone has integrations with RenSTAR and has automated processes that can pick up daily extracts from STAR to upload into DataZone’s dashboards and the SMART app. Data is synced nightly and updated daily.
If your district currently administers STAR, your DataZone District Lead can request that the assessment dashboards be enabled.

RenSTAR Math and ELA assessment scores are available under District Assessments
- If students take more than one test during a testing window, only the latest score for ELA and Math will show in file extracts per window. The latest score is also what will show in DZ K12 Analytics dashboards and SMART measures per testing window.
- Longitudinal Analysis is enabled by selecting multiple years in the School Year Filter.
Teacher/Class View:
- Teachers can also look at STAR scores (if applicable) under District Assessments tab.
- To filter to a class, users must select a school year and school name first in order to populate the Staff Name or Course Period filters on the right. Course Period is an optional filter. Selecting the Staff Name and Course Period will filter dashboard results to only students enrolled in those teachers' classes or for those periods.
